About Us
The Red River R/C Flyers was founded to promote the sport of flying radio controlled (R/C) models in the Red River Valley of Minnesota and North Dakota. The Club is a chartered member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). The AMA is a national organization that promotes the sport of model aviation. Our members come from the Red River Valley, including the University of North Dakota school of Aerospace Science.
We share experiences and enjoy discussions about building and flying R/C Model airplanes, helicopters and multi-rotor drones. Members work to provide education and training to members and the community about the art and science of RC aeromodeling.
Spectators and visitors are always welcome to join us at our flying field and at club meetings which are the second Thursday of every month
